Sigurd Story Time Page 01

Page 1 of a traditional parent/children story. How did mommy and daddy meet? This is a several page comic featuring Sigurd and Peach, each telling their kids a different version of the story of how they met. I went through several variations of each story, until I came up with my favourite three.

I made this comic as an apology for taking so long with my half of our art collab picture. Of course, this wound up taking forever too. It's my longest comic to date. So long, in fact, that I decided it would be best to release it in the form of multiple comics instead of one really long comic.

Eventually, I will upload a complete one-file version of every page of the comic separately, for those of you who'd rather read it in one shot.

Fun fact - Sigurd's line, "Oro?" is a parody of Kenshin Himura's famous catch-phrase from the Rurouni Kenshin anime. You only get to hear that line, however, if you're watching the subtitled version. They don't say it in the dub. Kenshin typically says that while in a quixotical state.
